Hi Eagles!
Welcome back students and teachers to a new academic year! We hope that all of you had a fantastic holiday and are full of enthusiasm and excitement to learn again and meet your fellow classmates and teachers. We are glad to announce that despite the ongoing pandemic, the government and the school has permitted all students to attend school onsite, meaning that there will be no more online classes! Of course, there are still strict COVID-19 protocols (examples: mask on at all times except when eating or drinking, hand washing before entering the building) that must be followed to ensure the safety of the students and staff.
Before the initial first day of school which was on Wednesday, 27th July 2022, the OSIS team, the Buddy team and Sekolah Ciputra High School teachers organized an induction day to welcome all new students along with returning grade 7 students who just completed their elementary journey last academic year. The day started off with an assembly in Ciputra Hall on general information about Sekolah Ciputra. During induction day, the OSIS team hosted several ice-breaking games for the new students to be more familiar with their other friends. These ice-breaking activities included pictionary, 2 truths and 1 lie, name that person, konga, kahoots, musical chairs and telephone charades. Other than that, the new students also got their ID pictures taken for their ID cards. The new students were also joined by their Buddies, who accompanied and guided them throughout induction day.

The first day of school for High School students was Wednesday, 27th July 2022. Unlike a normal school day, the first day of school followed a special schedule, starting off with an introductory assembly led by the teachers. For grade 11-12 students, the assembly was followed by a diploma programme (DP) assembly, which was continued by a homeroom session in their respective homeroom classes. On the other hand, after the assembly, grade 7-10 students went to their respective homeroom classes and then attended a grade level assembly discussing the grade’s events for the year.
The second day of school in the 2022-2023 academic year. The school has upgraded several of its facilities (ex: basketball court (BBC)).
Aside from that, the 2021-2022 school year has come to an end, which also means that there will be a new OSIS team taking over. The elections for the new Captain and Vice Captain of the OSIS team will be held in a few weeks time, meaning that we are unfortunately going to have to say goodbye. On behalf of the 2021-2022 OSIS team, we would like to say an immense thank you for all the support all of you have provided us with. We are honored to have been a part of your high school journey. We hope that you have enjoyed all the events, competitions and other things as much as we have. Last but not least, we would also like to wish the best of luck to the candidates who will be running for the next OSIS Captain and Vice-Captain and also the whole OSIS organization for this new academic year. We hope that you guys will continue to make OSIS an organization that will be hosting full of fun and exciting events.
The OSIS 2021-2022 team also wishes all the students and staff a great academic year ahead. We hope that everyone will be able to do well and have an enjoyable year!
