Hi Eagles!
With the end of this academic year nearing, OSIS Sekolah Ciputra has held one last, annual event to finish off the year: Ciputra’s Got Talent! Being one of the most anticipated events of the year, Ciputra’s Got Talent is a talent show competition open to all Sekolah Ciputra students in grades 7-11.
Due to the current pandemic, the 2022 season of Ciputra's Got Talent was held online, through video. The submission deadline for auditions was extended to the 15th of May from the initial date of 18th of April. Participants that advance to the final round will compete on June 6th. The competitors that advanced to the second round had the option of submitting the same video or submitting a new one to be evaluated by three judges: Ms. Niken, Mr. Fery, and Mr. Himawan. It is important to remember that the winners were determined by open debate among the three judges, followed by a yes-or-no vote. There were four categories for winners among the nine participants that competed in the final round: first place, second place, third place, and audience favorite (which was determined by the audience).

More into Ciputra’s Got Talent this year, amongst the dominating performances showcasing students’ talent in the arts such as singing and piano performances, there was one student that stood out. The student performed an easygoing magic trick for his friends, a submission easily catching the eyes of the audience with such a unique talent to showcase. This showcases the diversity of how students at Sekolah Ciputra put their interests and talent to good use. Shortly after the final performances were presented during morning homeroom, students were able to vote for their favorite performance through a QR code included in the video, which determined the awardee of the crowd’s favorite award.
In spite of the ongoing pandemic and COVID restrictions, Ciputra’s Got Talent gave students the chance to display their talents, receiving much-deserved recognition. Before ending, the OSIS team would like to sincerely congratulate the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, Ignaz Aryaguna Somawiharja (8-1), Nadya Valerie Onggo (8-4), and Regina Felicia Hadiputri, or REI (10-5), respectively. We would also like to congratulate, again, Nadya Valerie Onggo (8-4) for winning in the crowd’s favorite category. The OSIS team hopes to see more of you participating in next year’s Ciputra’s Got Talent and other future events!
