A huge congratulations to Ciputra’s boys basketball team for making it to DBL’s Sweet Sixteen (Top 16 teams). We are all rooting for you!
We would like to joyfully congratulate each team member of the boys basketball team, Bradley Nathaniel Wijaya (12), Stanley Nathael Tobing (12), Michael Ken Tansa (12) Edward Hugo Basuki (11), Jordan Winarta (11), Glenn Geraldo Supramono (11), Theodore Furui Widyatmoko (11), Jason William Tjokro (11), Luke Richard Taylor (12), Kang Jin Hyeok (11), D'angelo Tom Aristo Nimpuno (12) and Rionel Laurence Effendi (10), for making it this far. With the continuous support from the school, we sincerely hope you can continue to do your best performances in the arena.
Ciputra’s boys team won against SMAN 10 Surabaya in the playoffs on September 10, 2022, with a score of 58-25. Now our school’s basketball’s team has qualified for the Sweet Sixteen! Bradley Nathaniel Wijaya from Grade 12 is the team captain and holds the title of the second highest total points scored in the 2 games. We would like to congratulate him for scoring an impressive 13 free throws and 45 points thus far!
We would also like to thank all of the people who have shown continuous support towards the boys basketball team. The basketball matches wouldn’t be the same without the support and we really appreciate you guys taking the time to attend the matches. For those of you that haven’t supported our boys basketball team, we hope that you all will be available to support their next match.
Our next match will be against SMAN 3 Sidoarjo to occupy the Big Eight’s slot. To watch, students must fill in the permission slips provided in the admin office and get it signed by their parents, which should then be returned to the admin office to be stamped by 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 14. Students will be able to leave school at 2 PM, and the match will be starting at 3:10 PM. Please wear white when you go and support the team!
